Google, PayPal Joining Apple in Austin

Apparently PayPal has opened a "technology center" here in Austin, while Google is set to occupy the second floor of the Scarbrough Building at 6th & Congress. Notably, Google will be moving into a historic downtown building while PayPal is headed for the techno-industrial north.

Along with Apple's Austin office, which houses support and legal staff (and is located absolutely nowhere special), it's just like a little slice of Silicon Valley right here in my home town.

That's a good thing... right?
