You might not know it, but for the last year I've been working for a fascinating low-profile company based in Cambridge, Mass called NMG Technology. NMG is the corporate embodiment of a variety of projects from Jim Moore
, who is probably best known as the author of The Death of Competition and the progenitor of the idea of business ecosystems. In my time at NMG I've had the pleasure to get to know Jim as one of the good guys. He's been a mentor, a co-inventor, and a great boss. Being able to work with him—and to see him work on his many and varied interests—has been a highlight of my professional career.
One of Jim's interests is investing in early-stage startups, and it's one of the companies in which he's invested that is drawing me away from NMG. I can't say much about it (that will soon change), but I can tell you that today I'm starting my new role as VP of Developer Relations for T1ME. If you'll be in New York this week for SAP's A1S Event or in San Jose next month for Dave McClure's Graphing Social Patterns Facebook conference, I'll be happy to give you some more details. Otherwise, watch this space.
Thanks to Jim for a fantastic year at NMG. And here's to bright future for T1ME.

Hey Charlie, good for you - congrats! Will look forward to hearing more, the website's awfully bare right now. :-)

I know--I can't wait until we can show the world what's been going on behind the scenes. Very cool stuff indeed.
