SAPPHIRE Bloggers Followup Conference Call

sk-cc2.png Much has been said about how the dynamic among bloggers covering SAPPHIRE differed with that of traditional journalists, but the difference doesn't end when the show concludes. Several of the bloggers in attendance have scheduled a (Skype, natch) conference call to discuss what we saw and heard in Vienna.

The idea is that through such discussion, each of us can enrich his understanding and analysis of the raw information and therefore provide more value to his readers. On the trip home, I wrote a draft of a post summarizing my takeaways from the show, but decided to wait to publish it until the ideas had undergone what you might think of as a peer review.

The call is scheduled for later this morning, and I'll post my final thoughts this afternoon.
