In January 2004 I decided to create a weblog, so I did what any self-respecting software developer would do and wrote a little content management system. I hosted it on an ancient Dell laptop in my attic. And I told myself that when the machine died, so would the blog. Well, this morning the machine died, but I'm resurrecting the blog.
I may move the last few posts from the old blog (which are still in my feed reader) over here, but I'm not going to worry about the archives. Maybe I'll dig the Moonwatcher logo out of Google's cache. But other that that, this will be a nice, clean start, and a chance to use some of the cool third-party stuff that's been created in the last three years on my personal blog.
